Mother's day hedgehog house

The kids gave me the best Mother’s day present this year: a hand-made hedgehog house! There is some scrap wood around the house for projects like this. They’ve consulted the internet for the right design and measurements and with adult supervision cut the scrap wood to the right size. After this, they got nails and a hammer and assembled the house. It really did make me very happy!

Together we’ve found a sheltered nook for it in the garden. Let’s hope that it will be found by a hedgehog who will put it to good use.
