Plastic Free Dorchester Picnic Celebration - Damers First School

The Plastic Free Picnic took place in Borough Gardens, Dorchester to celebrate the town achieving SAS Plastic Free Community Status. It has been a campaign lead by Damers First School children with support from Dorchester Town Council, Litter Free Dorset, local businesses and community groups. On the day there were a whole host of stalls promoting different ways of being single use plastic free from local businesses as well as live music from a solar disco and junk band, Weapons of Sound.
