Damers First School - New Nature Area

Damers First School had a brand new nature area with pond constructed in the school grounds. The money was raised by the children who designed, produced and sold their award winning Waxtastic No Plastic (an alternative to cling film). Some of the funds also came from the awards the school have won through the children's eco work. Television Presenter Naomi Wilkinson came to open the Nature Area before the end of the Summer Term in July.
