We are going on a snake hunt
On a sunny March day, we set off to try and find some adders. As the days are still cold in early spring, they need to bask for most of the day and it's easiest to find them. The snake expert in our family led us to a site in North Wales where against our reserved hopes we saw 11 beautiful adders!
It was such a wonderful experience! The snakes appeared to be well used to people because they didn't even move when we took our photos of them. Snakes are very important and special creatures and the less people are scared of them, the better. The kids in our family have grown up to appreciate them.
