Re-plant a tree

A little acorn from a big oak tree across the road took to our garden, grew roots and then shoots and became a little sapling. Our garden is not much larger than a napkin, so after a couple of years, we decided to give it a better chance and replanted it in our local woods.

We carefully dug it out and went on a walk to find a lovely spot for it. When we’ve agreed on one - a little clearing where a tree appeared to have fallen - we dug a hole and planted the sapling in it. We took pictures of the surroundings so we can find it again! We will visit our little oak tree and hope for it to grow big and tall.
