Pollination Stations at Solihull Prep

We have been working hard to create pollination stations in our school environment.

We used loo rolls to create environmentally friendly, compostable flower post & planted the seeds which we gathered previously. We planted numerous flowers and vegetables, and have seen an increased number of bees and butterflies visiting these.

Everyone has enjoyed seeing our pretty displays, staff have found them uplifting and the children have been delighted with the results. We have loved helping the small pollinators to do their important job!
