Tree Planting at Hallam Fields Primary School

This term, we were very excited to receive over 400 trees from The Woodland Trust.

Every child in school had the opportunity to plant a tree.  Countrywide kindly donated their time to pre-dig holes, ready for the children to plant their trees. They had a great time planting the trees on our school grounds. We planted a wide variety, including birch, crab apple and willow.

It was an incredible way for our children to connect with nature while helping the planet. We are all very excited to see them grow, and eventually create a woodland area and outdoor classroom for our school.
