Dreamcatching to success at the Eden Project - Mission Update!

As part of a year long project between the Children and Young Peoples Partnership in Cornwall and Penryn College, Eco-school students were invited to attend the Dreamcatching award ceremony and conference held at the Eden Project. The students became involved last year when CYYP asked them about their dreams for the future.  At a workshop held by a local author, Elfrea Lockley, students produced  a booklet of prose and poetry about their concerns and wishes for their environment.CYYP were so impressed with this the students were asked to carry out a year long project looking at a pareticular aspect of their environment - recylcing and our resources. For the work they had achieved in developing effective recycling routines in school and encouraging others the students were awarded with a cheque for £200 and further work to act as advisors to other schools who wished to recycle.Well done to all the students involved and what a great evening's event!
