Damers First School - Best Youth Volunteer and Best Group Award Shortlist

Isla in Meadow 4 at Damers First School has been shortlisted for Best Youth Volunteer in this years Dorset Voiunteer Centre Awards which will be held at the Dorford Centre at the end of October. Isla who asked for a litter picker for Christmas goes on beach cleans during her weekends she even asked the Sea Life Centre in Weymouth if she could litter pick the grounds. She has also given presentations to businesses and community groups during her weekends and evenings about how they had reduce single use plastic in their homes and in their business.
