Updating our entrance area! - In Touch with Nature project update

We were lucky to be given a fabulous grant from Roots & Shoots to enhance our entrance area. Given the fact that we have a green flag and an RHS award level five, our entrance was definitely letting us down! I planned to have raised beds all the way around, so the children will be able to pick the produce from our plants such as strawberries and tomatoes whilst they wait to come in! And I am hoping the children will share thier knowledge with thier parents as well as eat healthy foods! I am also changing our sparrow houses as they are worn out, we have watched our baby sparrows fledgling every year and it's amazing for the children to see. I have also purchased some new feeders and a bath for them to. Very spoilt sparrows! I will also add some bug hotels and benches to sit on. The planters are looking amazing already, we were lucky enough for some super Dads to construct them for us to. Roll on the Spring! And thank you so much Roots & Shoots!
