Pond progression

Our pond area was overgrown and run-down. There were no plants in the pond, it was full of leaves and various bits of rubbish.This year, we started by cleaning out the pond, removing all the algae and leaves. We have also removed various bits of stationary such as: pens, whiteboard pens and glue sticks.Around the pond is a garden area that had weeds and dead plants. We are now in the process of transforming it into a wild life friendly rockery.
