Gombe 60 Creative Competition - the Winners
In 2020, we celebrated 60 years since Dr Jane Goodall first set foot at the Gombe Streams National Park to begin her ground-breaking research into the chimpanzees there. Her work, and the work of the hundreds of conservationists over the decades since, has changed the way we understand and value these amazing animals and the environment they live in.Gombe 60 was a huge celebration all around the world, with Roots & Shoots groups and individuals everywhere inspired and inspiring others to make the changes that will make this planet better for the people, plants and animals that call it home.Along with all the amazing projects, celebrations and activities, here in the UK we launched a creative competition - we asked you to write a story or colour/ do a drawing.
