Get involved in #ThatsKindness Campaign 2021

Our partner Montessori are working with the UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP) to support their #KindnessMatters campaign. The campaign is aimed to approve the creation of the new UNESCO International Day of Kindness.Together we hope to have gathered at least 1 million stories of Kindness to show these Ministers that #KindnessMatters.Can you help us make this happen? We would love seeing some Roots & Shoots members and friends featured!All that’s required is:

1. Date (of the act of kindness)
2. Location (village, town, city, country)
3. VERY BRIEF description of the act of kindness
4. OPTIONAL – any other data is a bonus to UNESC MGIEP e.g. URL of media articles, photos, videos

Please note that the acts of kindness can come from anyone – they don’t have to be Montessorian or a Roots & Shoots member.We are particularly keen to hear from young people (18-34) who have carried out acts of kindness.  The most kind young person will be invited to present with Leonor Stjepic, Montessori’s CEO, at the 2021 3rd World Youth Conference in November 2021.The best stories will be featured on the #ThatsKindness website.Please send your stories of Kindness to Beatrice at beatrice.luca@montessori.org.ukWe look forward to reading these acts of kindness!Now more than ever, we need to make this World kinder for all!Thank you!the Roots & Shoots Team
