Recycling at Solihull Prep

As part of our Prep School Charity Week, we decided that we could do more to recycle all the plastic bottles, cans and rubbish that are created at our ‘Giant Tuck Shop’.

We created signs for different types of recycling and placed recycling bins strategically around school. We also let all the pupils know about the extra recycling bins and encouraged their use throughout all our activities.

We were delighted with how the school embraced recycling during the week and we collected lots of bags of recycling, much of which we can use to make eco-bricks… that’s another project that is unfolding- watch this space!
