TASIS - In Touch with Nature project
On the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, TASIS students planted a young silver birch tree to commemorate the special day.We were honoured to receive a grant from Roots & Shoots. This tree is a daily reminder of the beauty of trees. We know how they are so important to life, as they produce the oxygen that all living creatures need. They also produce shelter, food, and shade. We have seen how our tree has grown and how it produces beautiful leaves. In our photos, you can see the growth. The photo with some of our students next to the tree shows the tree in winter. Now, it does not have any leaves. We look forward to the spring when it will be full of color again. Thank you Roots & Shoots for helping us to do this project.
