TASIS at Wildlife Rocks Me Awards
Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue hosted a wonderful day called, Wildlife Rocks Me. It was a big celebration of wildlife, animals, and caring for the environment. Brian May, from Queen, is very involved with the preservation of wildlife and he works with Harper Asprey and Anne Brummer, who runs this wonderful rescue charity. As Anne helped our Wildlife Club plan our wildlife pond, she was able to watch this project come to life. Brian May donated the pond plants that were used in our pond. Anne brought us the rescued hedgehog, Guy, to come live in our school garden near the pond. Wildlife Rocks honoured our project with a Wildlife Rocks Award at the Guildford Cathedral on the 1st of September. Brian May presented the award to Wendy Gediman, and our Wildlife Club members who were able to be present. What a thrilling day for all!
