Sensational Salads for the Queen’s Jubilee!
In celebration of the Queen’s Jubilee, we organised a ‘sensational salad’ event, and a Jubilee picnic on Friday 27thMay.
As part of the Leicester City Council ‘Big Green Month’, we have been growing herbs in school. The children used these herbs to make salads. We invited parents to come into school to purchase a salad to eat at our jubilee picnic. Everyone had a great time making (and eating!) the salads, and celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee.
All of the children took home a pot of herbs and a salad recipe to share with their families.
