Saving Water!

After a visit from Severn Trent Water about ways in which we could conserve and recycle water, we were inspired!When it came to watering our young plants in our pollination station, we realised we needed a reliable water supply!  This got us thinking about harvesting rainwater and how we could create a sustainable supply to the gardening space surrounded by buildings in our school.We explored our school grounds, talked to staff, and discovered this fabulous water carrier hidden away and unloved, but with lots of life left in it!After a quick spruce, it is now supplying rain water to all our plants. We are now delighted every time it rains!
