Plastic bottle recycling programme

Our Eco club have come up with an initiative to help reduce the amount of single use plastic bottles thrown in normal waste bins. Our pupils asked our amazing caretaker to construct a huge bottle out of recycled materials.He constructed a large plastic bottle from fencing that was going to be thrown away, a PE cone that was in the normal waste and recycled paper for the signs. This is now stored at the front of the school for anyone to put their single use plastic bottles in. We are now in contact with a local company about the recycling of these bottles once we have collected enough.
