Peace Day celebration at TASIS

Our Lower School Roots & Shoots Club got together to make peace doves and discuss what we could do at school to lead a more peaceful life. Our students come from all around the globe and some of them have seen conflict in their countries. We had discussions on how it is important to be kind and respectful. We also discussed how we need to celebrate the diversity of cultures that enhance all life on Earth.Peace Day was then celebrated in both the Lower and Middle School as students gathered outside together to exchange paper peace doves with lovely messages of peace. Everyone walked away with hope and inspiration to always work towards a peaceful coexistence on our beautiful planet!
