Hapa Zome

We have been having a go at the Japanese art of Hapa Zome in Primary 2.

It means 'leaf dye'. We used different things we could find in our playground, grass, leaves, daisies, dandelions and even mud! We then used a stone to imprint the dye onto the material! It was amazing, we couldn't believe the different colours! We also tried adding some masking tape to make different shapes. This is something you could easily have a try at home!
