Damers First School - New Allotment Area in School Grounds

Our gardening volunteers worked really hard over half term to transform our gardens so the children can plant winter crops that  hopefully will be ready to harvest in March and April. Our allotment patch has had a makeover during the holidays. A team that included Mr Davis, Marcus Foice and Ian Brown from Poundbury Rotary who delivered gravel and rotavated the soil, Mr Moore and his dad and  some of Mr Moore’s friends who helped to wheelbarrow gravel. The allotment area was funding by the Dorset Gardens Trust who gave the school a £400 grant.
