Damers First School - Eco Lanterns for Dorchester Christmas Cracker Parade

The Children in year 3 and 4 made eco friendly lanterns for the Dorchetser Christmas Cracker Parade. The children worked with a sculpture artist to and design and make the lanterns from large food tin cans that had been donated to the school from The Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester. The children then took part in the parade going carrying them through the streets of Dorchester before the Christmas lights were switched on.
