Clothes for Kenya

During the last half term, Moreton's pupils and families have been busy collecting and donating used clothes. These clothes will be sent to a children's home in Gilgil, Kenya, which one of our teachers visited during the Christmas holidays. Restart Africa is the name of the children's home, which takes care of more than 100 children of all ages. It provides them with food, shelter, welfare, and education. So far, our school community has collected 5 suitcases full of clothing, which will be delivered to Kenya at the end of March.

Restart Africa not only provides care to children but is also an important contributor to the Gilgil community by providing employment opportunities for several individuals. The organization offers a chance for many children to turn their lives around and create a better future for themselves.
