ATU celebrates Dr Jane's 90th Birthday!

HELPING CHILDREN ENGAGE WITH NATURE ALL AROUND THEM

The Andover Youth Shoots - Andover Trees United Roots & Shoots youth group - supported Nature & Community Officer Jo to introduce the Nature Explorers (school holiday activities for young people) to foraging, learning about plants and how they feed us and other animals.

The conservation volunteers enjoyed tea and cake and wished Dr Jane a Happy 90th Birthday; then went to check on newly planted trees and replanted a few that had been damaged. Always giving of their time to look after nature, today they took time out to also look after each other.

Happy Birthday Jane. We hope somewhere you are also taking time out to enjoy tea and cake!
